1. Shipping Coverage Areas

1.1 Delivery Locations

We deliver to all 64 districts of Bangladesh, including:

  • Inside Dhaka: All areas within Dhaka Metropolitan area
  • Outside Dhaka: All districts and upazilas across Bangladesh
  • Remote areas may experience slight delivery delays
Note: For extremely remote locations or hard-to-reach areas, our courier partners may contact you to arrange pickup from the nearest courier office. We’ll notify you in advance if this applies to your delivery.

3. Order Processing Timeline

From Order to Delivery:

Step 1 – Order Confirmation (0-2 hours):
Once you place an order, you’ll receive an email/SMS confirmation immediately. We verify payment and check product availability.
Step 2 – Order Processing (1-2 business days):
Your order is picked, quality checked, and carefully packaged at our warehouse. Products are prepared for shipment.
Step 3 – Dispatch (Within 24 hours after processing):
Your package is handed over to our courier partner. You’ll receive a tracking number via email/SMS.
Step 4 – In Transit (2-7 business days):
Your order is on its way! Track your package using the provided tracking number.
Step 5 – Delivery Attempt (Up to 3 attempts):
Our courier partner will attempt delivery. Please ensure someone is available to receive the package.
Step 6 – Successful Delivery:
You receive your BSS Leather products! Inspect the package before the delivery person leaves.
Important: Processing time starts after payment confirmation. Orders placed on Fridays, government holidays, or after business hours will be processed on the next working day.

5. Order Tracking

5.1 How to Track Your Order

  • Once shipped, you’ll receive a unique tracking number via email and SMS
  • Visit our website and enter your tracking number in the “Track Order” section
  • Alternatively, use the courier’s website/app with your tracking number
  • Track real-time location and delivery status of your package
  • Contact our customer service for tracking assistance

5.2 Tracking Information Includes

  • Order dispatch confirmation
  • Current location of your package
  • Expected delivery date
  • Delivery attempt notifications
  • Successful delivery confirmation
Tip: Tracking information may take 12-24 hours to update after dispatch. If you don’t receive tracking details within 48 hours of order confirmation, please contact us.
 

6. Delivery Attempts & Procedures

6.1 Delivery Attempts

  • Our courier partners will make up to 3 delivery attempts
  • They will call you before each delivery attempt
  • Please ensure your phone is reachable during delivery hours (10 AM – 7 PM)
  • Provide accurate delivery address and contact number

6.2 Failed Delivery

If all 3 delivery attempts fail due to:

  • Recipient unavailable
  • Wrong/incomplete address
  • Phone unreachable

The package will be returned to our warehouse. You’ll be responsible for re-delivery charges.

Re-delivery Charges: Inside Dhaka: BDT 60 | Outside Dhaka: BDT 120
 

6.3 At the Time of Delivery

  • Please check the package for any visible damage before accepting
  • If packaging appears tampered or damaged, refuse delivery immediately
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD), payment is made upon receiving the product
  • Ensure the product matches your order before making payment
  • Keep your invoice/receipt safe for warranty and returns

7. Delivery Delays & Issues

7.1 Possible Reasons for Delays

    • Natural disasters or extreme weather conditions
  • Political unrest, strikes, or hartals
  • Government restrictions or lockdowns
  • Public holidays and weekends
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery address
  • Remote location accessibility issues

  • Work with courier partners to expedite delivery

Delayed Order? If your order is delayed beyond the estimated delivery time, please contact our customer service. We’ll investigate and update you within 24 hours.
 

8. Package Safety & Security

  • All products are carefully inspected before packaging
  • We use sturdy, tamper-proof packaging materials
  • Fragile items receive extra protective packaging
  • Each package is sealed with BSS Leather security tape
  • Insurance is included for high-value shipments
  • Damaged packages during transit are fully covered
Damaged During Transit? If your package arrives damaged, DO NOT accept delivery. Take photos and immediately contact us. We’ll arrange a replacement at no extra cost.

9. International Shipping

Currently, BSS Leather delivers only within Bangladesh. We are working on expanding our services to international locations. Stay tuned for updates!

  • BSS Leather is not liable for delays due to force majeure events
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless we fail to deliver
  • You must provide accurate delivery information
  • Refusal of delivery may result in additional charges
